It's now more expensive to score a meeting with Tim Cook than to buy a brand-new Lamborghini Gallardo.
Bids for that meeting, which through charity bidding site Charitybuzz, were originally estimated at $50,000, but now stand at $210,000. They even reached $160,000 by the end of the first day.
The "power meeting," which promises half an hour with the CEO of the second most valuable company in the world, is part of a campaign to raise money for the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights. It's the sixth annual iteration of the fundraiser, which also features an "auction experience" with celebrities like Robin Williams, Jay Leno, Ryan Seacrest, and Alec Baldwin, along with Tesla founder Elon Musk.
The current high bidder at $210,000 is listed only as "TheiPhone911."
Bidding on the meeting with Cook is open until May 14, and is currently well ahead of some of the other auctions. The next closest is a tour of the SpaceX Center and meeting with Musk in Los Angeles, which is currently at $7,500, as well as a personal tour of Jay Leno's car collection that's going for $7,250.
