<b>HP LaserJet 4000 series printers do not work with Adobe software?

I find this a bit odd but here goes...

According to a disclaimer on Hewlett-Packard's web site: "The Hewlett-Packard LaserJet 4000 series of printers use Postscript (R) Level 2 emulation. Hewlett-Packard has not licensed any products from Adobe for use with this family of printers. HP cannot and does not recommend use of Adobe products with the HP LaserJet 4000 printer family."

Tom Kerley states that "a call to Hewlett Packard directly confirmed the statement on their web site. They stated that because the 4000 series uses Postscript 2 "emulation" the 4000 series will not work correctly with any Adobe software!"
