a. Adios! I am finally going on the trip to Mexico that I have previously mentioned here. As a result, there will be no Late-Breakers next week. The email box will remain open however (so keep sending your news and tips). Updates will return on Monday, December 29th.

b. Much will be happening here at MacFixIt shortly after I return. I have a year-end "state of the Mac" item coming up. I will be heading for Macworld Expo and will be posting special reports from there. Mac OS 8.1 should be released real soon - and I will provide the usual expanded troubleshooting reports. I hope to resolve the continuing problems with the search engine within the next few weeks. And I have a couple of other surprises planned. See you then. Happy holidays!
