FinderPop 1.6.1 is out. It's a bug fix. [By the way, yesterday, when trying to access a contextual menu, I got a Finder quit. When things settled down, contextual menu access was completely gone. I had restart to get it back. It has not happened again. I have no idea if it is related to FinderPop or not. Just thought I would mention it in case anyone else has had a similar experience.]

Turly O'Conner (author of FinderPop) responded to the above report. He suggests that FinderPop may indeed be the culprit (it existed prior to 1.6.1): "A couple of other people have reported this; what seems to be happening is that I'm allocating something in the Finder's heap and when the Finder quits and restarts, that something is blown away. I'm looking into it. I have my suspicions, and hopefully will be able to release an updated version at the weekend."

Meanwhile, to avoid the problem, do not quit the Finder deliberately. If a Finder quit should occur, uncheck FinderPop's option to "Display small icons in FinderPop Submenus" before continuing.
