Beware of Safari v78 "golden master" release that is circulating

There is a copy of Safari circulating illegally, posing as "v78 GM", the Golden Master version. Apart from the unlikelihood of the v78 beta being the Gold Master, there are a couple of other giveaways that this is not the actual GM.

The "Safari" menu is changed to "Safari (Gold Master)" - distinctly odd. There appears to be an X'ed out serial number in the "About Safari" window. And "Get info" reveals that the creation date not only differs from the modification date (which does not happen in any other version of this app), but also precedes the creation date of v74.

Until we gather some more information about this unauthorized release, it is advisable to steer clear.
