BEA Systems on Tuesday is scheduled to show off forthcoming portal products meant to bring Web 2.0 technologies to business users.

At the O'Reilly Etech conference in San Diego, BEA executives plan to show off AquaLogic-branded products that are expected to be generally available in the second quarter of this year.

The products are: -AquaLogic Ensemble (formerly Project Runner) is software designed for developers and IT operations to create and manage enterprise mashup applications;

-AquaLogic Pages (formerly Project Builder) is designed to let end users create simple Web applications with corporate data.

-AquaLogic Pathways (formerly Project Graffiti) is collaboration software that uses social book-marking and tagging with search and activity analytics.

A recent Forrester report found that corporate customers are interested in Web 2.0 technologies, like wikis and tagging, but prefer to purchase software suites from established vendors.
