Your muffin sandwich awaits. Bed Bath & Beyond

The most important meal of the day--as everybody knows--is breakfast. What everybody doesn't know is what they might have for breakfast.

Options abound in the early hours of the day and sometimes those choices lead to a surprise. Perhaps toast was on the menu the night before, but come morning nothing but eggs would do; it's hard to know what one wants before one wants it. All of this goes to say that while breakfast comes in many forms, one should always be prepared for eggs. And if that means via a folding toaster, then a folding toaster it is.

The Nostalgia Electrics Egg and Muffin Toaster keeps breakfast-eaters prepared no matter the craving in the morning. Featuring a fold-out griddle that heats up to 450 degrees, the toaster is an all-in-one breakfast sandwich-making machine. The cooking plate folds down from the body of the toaster and includes its own separate on/off control.

Measuring about 8 inches tall, 6.8 inches wide, and 13 inches across (presumably when unfolded), the diminutive machine is designed to be used wherever breakfast needs to be consumed. Much like the incredible, edible egg that holds a surprising number of ways to be prepared, the over-achieving toaster offers its own surprise with its hidden griddle. And remember, when it comes to the most important meal of the day, it's best not to be taken by surprise.
