<b>ColorSync 2.5 Profiles glitch?

Richie Moore notes that "ColorSync 2.5 moves the 'ColorSync Profiles' to the root level of the System Folder placing an alias to the old folder in the Preferences Folder." He found that several programs, including Quark XPress and Adobe Illustrator, could not find the newly located profiles. Problems, including possible system crashes, resulted. Glenn Batuyong reported a similar problem with FreeHand. Richie's solution? "Reinstall ColorSync 2.1.2 with all the profiles in the Preferences folder. Launch Illustrator, Quark (or whatever other programs are having a problem) and make sure they see the ColorSync profiles. Then reinstall ColorSync 2.5."
