<b>Adobe software issues

a. PageMaker and Hawkeye conflict There is a conflict between PageMaker 6.5 and recent versions of the Hawkeye control panel used by Number Nine's Imagine 128 graphics accelerator card. The symptom is a freeze on the launching of PageMaker. When Lawrence Halff emailed Number Nine about this, they sent him back a version 4.5.0 of the Hawkeye Control Panel - which has eliminated the conflict. Apparently this new version is not yet on Number Nine's ftp or web sites.

b. Adobe Illustrator 7.0 is out Earl Britt reports that Illustrator's Installer has the same sort of installation quirks as recently described for the Photoshop 4.0.1 Update.
