<b>A solution to the Internet Explorer Mail and News multiple windows problem?

Regarding the previously covered problem of Internet Explorer opening up a cascading series of "Untitled" windows when accessing the Internet News and Mail application, Ervin Mezey claims that the following will eliminate the problem:

a. Trash The Main User preference file found in the Internet Configurations folder within the Preference Folder inside the System Folder.

b. Trash the Internet Preference file found inside the Preference Folder (within the System Folder).

Then restart your Mac. New versions of these files should be created the next time you launch IE - and the problem should be gone.
