Avoid sunstroke, watch cool video reviews

We've been eagerly soaking up the sun in our back gardens, but it's time to cool down with some delightfully refreshing video reviews

Shannon Doubleday

We can't think of anything to complain about this week. We've been picnicking in the park, taking tramp-strength lager on the Tube for the last time and crowning Manchester United as Premier League champions again (sure, we could easily complain about that, but we won't -- it could have been so much worse). The week in video has been just as relaxed, though we haven't taken to our hammocks just yet. Peruse our latest at your leisure.

It may seem like comparing a Double Decker to a Dairy Milk, but the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ4 video review features a very pocketable superzoom. With its user-friendly controls and its 10x, 28mm Leica lens combined, it's both a powerful and attractive option for holidaymakers.

Picture performance is paramount in the Toshiba Regza 37XV505D video review. We were impressed by its high-definition output, as you would hope, and the great Freeview quality was a welcome surprise. You'll also get a new look on this Tosh, with rounded edges and a silver lining around the outside of the bezel. It's a subtle move away from all the boxy LCDs we see everywhere, and we're keen on it.

Throw open the windows and take in the fresh video content and air. You can complain about hayfever next week. -Shannon Doubleday
