Audion 1.0.1 is out; MP3 helper app bug (and fix) described

Audion 1.0.1 is out. The update to this audio player features bug fixes as well as a broader selection of equalizer presets, the ability to view the remaining time in a song, a new "playlists" folder whose contents will automatically be added to the Playlist menu for easy selection, and more. See the release notes for more details.

Mark Tuleweit describes a bug in the 1.0 version that appears to persist in this update. He claims: "It is impossible to turn off the 'Use Audion as a helper application for Internet MP3 files' option. Not only that but when you first launch Audion it asks you if you would like to make Audion the default app for MP3 Internet files. If you answer 'No' it takes it as a Yes and checks the box in the prefs." He contacted Panic about this and they replied that "this was a bug in the beta that they thought that they had fixed and they will have someone look into it immediately ." Update: Cabel Sasser (of Panic) informs us that trashing the Internet Preferences file should fix this.
