ATI Universal Installer 4.0.1 is out; fixes Apple Guide related crash?
Gene Shekhtman notes: "The 4.01 version fixes the installation error when Apple Guide is disabled (see item last time). The fix is done via an updated ATI Extension. To the best of my knowledge the newer version of the ATI Extension is the only change in 4.01 installer vs. the older 4.0 installer."
Kiran Wagle adds: "If you want to get rid of the system-wide ATI menu, just disable the ATI Extension."
David Marsch claims: "The Rage Orion will not work on StarMax machines nor will they work on 6400's and 6500's. ATI confirms that it is a driver issue and have no idea when it will be fixed." Jeff Hanson also confirms this StarMax conflict.
