Art Technology Group, an e-commerce application maker, will bundle IBM's WebSphere Internet infrastructure software with its products under a deal announced Monday. ATG's products will be upgraded to pre-integrate with the WebSphere application server, studio development tools and MQ application integration software over the next 12 months to 18 months.

By integrating with IBM's tools and server infrastructure, ATG said, its products will become less expensive to deploy and operate. A number of ATG customers are expected to use its applications integrated with WebSphere, including Conseco Insurance, Kaiser and DZ Bank.
