AT&T has a plan to sweeten up your holiday shopping and phone-purchasing in one fell swoop.

Effective immediately, the carrier will tack on an LG G Pad 7.o LTE tablet for a mere $0.99 when you buy a smartphone. Not just an LG handset, mind you -- any smartphone.

There are a few strings, of course. First, subscribers must purchase the smartphone on an AT&T Next plan. Further, the 7-inch tablet must be purchased under a two-year service agreement. Indeed, both devices also come with activation fees.

It isn't immediately clear how long the AT&T bundle promotion will last, but those looking for a tablet for less or a two-in-one gift now have this affordable option.
