Asanté/ProRez conflict follow-up Regarding the AsantéFast Ethernet and Ultimate Rez 3D conflict reported yesterday, here is the link to the Asanté Technical Info Database article on the matter. However, Asanté tech support told Peter Slavcheff: "If you are not having a problem with your AsantéFast Ethernet card and the IX Micro 3D ProRez video card then I would not be concerned."

CardBus upgrades Now that we've established that the PowerBook 3400, the original PowerBook G3 and all older PowerBooks do not directly support CardBus, here's a web page that describes a user's experience with the MCE CardBus upgrade for at least some of these Macs.

Pit Droids puzzle posting problem Bill Isham writes: "The puzzle game Pit Droids by Lucas Learning runs a puzzle exchange where users can post their own puzzle creations. Mac users can download the puzzles posted, however, many Mac users are unable to post their own puzzles to the site. We get an 'invalid file type' error message. Tech Support at Lucas Learning states that everyone who has this problem is a Mac user, but not all Mac users have the problem. They also state that they suspect that Internet Explorer for the Mac is the culprit, and claim to be investigating. That was over a month ago."
