Watch this: Apple Music gets a boost before iPhone 7 launch

You've read all the rumors about Apple's next iPhone, which may or may not be called the iPhone 7 and may or may not be the handset you've been pining for. But wonder no more. You can find out for yourself September 7 when the tech giant will live-stream its next big product event.

Apple sent out invitations Monday to the event, where it's expected to announce the next iPhone and likely another Apple Watch too. The tech giant will live-stream the presentation at 10 a.m. PT from the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco.

You can watch via the Safari browser on an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch with iOS 7.0 or later. On a Mac, you'll need OS X v10.8.5 or later and Safari 6.0.5 or later. And not to leave out the Microsoft folks, you can see it all on a PC running Windows 10 and the Edge browser. (Apple started included Windows users in its live streams when Windows 10 came out in 2015.)

Be sure to tune in for CNET's live coverage of the event next week. You have until then to get used to the idea of the end of the headphone jack as we know it.
