Apple updates two NetBoot files

CNET staff
NetBoot Desktop Admin 1.1 is out. Apple explains:
The Applications HD and NetBoot HD volumes that you see when you log in to a NetBoot client computer are read-only disk images, which you cannot change. To install new software on these disk images or change the system configuration, you use the NetBoot Desktop Admin application. NetBoot Desktop Admin version 1.1 improves changing the size of the disk images that prevents problems with Disk First Aid or software installation programs. In addition, this version of the application repairs the disk images, if necessary, when you create copies to change them.

A Replacement Applications HD Image is also available. When used with Desktop Admin, it allows you to increase the size of the disk image up to 2 GB (previously the limit was 512MB).
