Moments after announcing the new iPad at its San Francisco launch event today, Apple also unveiled an update to iMovie.

Among the changes are the ability to create movie trailers in the mobile app, which is a feature Apple previously added to the Mac OS X version of iMovie.

What's more, you'll be able to use a visual storyboard and you can shoot 1080p video using the new iPad's updated HD camera and plug it into the app.

We'll tell you more after we get a hands-on.
