Apple TIL files and updates

Apple has posted a host of new TIL files (see Apple's TIL web page for the complete list). Here are the ones I found of most interest:

#24353: The Apple Video Player will not work on a G3 if the monitor is set to millions of colors.

#24348: A problem with the PowerBook 3400 cursor disappearing when the screen dims in Mac OS 7.6.x is fixed in Mac OS 8.x.

#30382: If you are having trouble using Drive Setup 1.4 to format a disk with Macintosh Extended Format, this TIL gives the step by step details.

Apple has also released a bunch of utility updates. Most notable:

Apple System Profiler 1.3.2 The most important changes: Added support for HFS and support for Power Macintosh G3 and PowerBook G3.

CSW 4000 Update 1.1 fixes communication problems in which documents fail to print with messages such as "The printer is not responding" or "Sorry, a system error occurred (-23)." This update also improves printing behavior in some low memory situations.
