Apple TIL article on QuickTime 4 problems

A new Apple TIL article (#58381) explains why you may see any of the following problems after installing QuickTime 4:

• Picture Viewer was not installed
• I get an error saying "DVD Hardware not found" when I run the Apple DVD Player
• I cannot open certain file types in QuickTime Player (like QTVR files and MP3 files)
• The "preview" doesn't work in the open dialog box of some application

The solution is most likely that you installed the Basic version of QuickTime. This omitted components found in the Deluxe or Authoring versions that are needed to eliminate the problems reported.
