Apple System Profiler 2.1.2 glitches

"Not enough memory" conflict Two readers (Jacqueline Simoneaux and Jeffrey Miller), running Mac OS 8.1, were unable to launch Apple System Profiler 2.1.2. They received a message that said "There isn't enough memory to complete this action." This was followed by a freeze that required a restart of the Mac to fix. In both cases, this was caused by a conflict with Greg's Buttons 3.8 (which is primarily for use with System 7).

Epson 600 conflict Two readers (Eduardo Cruz and Keith MacLean) report that immediately after launching ASP, their Epson Stylus 600 printers begin to print out about a half page of "garbage" characters. Keith was running Mac OS 8.1.
