61624: iPhoto: Rotated Photos May Not Appear Rotated in Other Applications states: "If you drag a photo rotated in iPhoto to another application, such as Mail, or to other document window, the photo is not rotated in the other application window or document." The solution is to "Export the rotated photo first before using it in another application."
