The current iteration of the TechTool Deluxe Pro CD does not allow booting on 2003 Macs. Unfortunately, the same CD is being shipped with Apple's $250 AppleCare extended warranty/parts replacement plan.

Apple is providing new, 2003 Mac-bootable CDs to customers who request them.
