Apple sends out Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update; Updates iDisk iPhone App

In the realm of updates this week, Apple has added increased support for RAW images and made some updates to its MobileMe iDisk iPhone App.

In the realm of updates this week, Apple has added increased support for RAW images and made some updates to its MobileMe iDisk iPhone App. The Raw Compatibility Update 2.7 adds support for six new digital SLR cameras from Canon and Nikon. Among the features of the MobileMe iDisk iPhone App update is the ability to save or copy images.

The six cameras supported by the Raw Compatibility Update 2.7 are:

  • Canon EOS-1D Mark IV
  • Canon EOS 7D
  • Canon PowerShot G11
  • Nikon D3S
  • Nikon D3000S
  • Nikon D3000
The update can be downloaded via Software Update.

The MobileMe iDisk iPhone Application update also includes the ability to auto-complete addresses when emailing links to iDisk files and the added functionality of saving outgoing messages to the Sent folder in Mail. The MobileMe iDisk iPhone App can be downloaded for free from the iTunes App Store (requires MobileMe account, available online or at an Apple Store).
