Apple releases Safari 2.0.1 for Mac OS X 10.4.2, Safari 1.3.1 for Mac OS X 10.3.9

Apple has released updated versions of its Safari Web browser for both Mac OS X 10.4.2 and Mac OS X 10.3.9, marking a rare instance of the company not bundling revisions of Safari with incremental Mac OS X updates.

According to Apple, both versions (2.0.1 and 1.3.1) improve website compatibility, application stability and support for 3rd party web applications.
