Apple releases iPhoto 5.0.3, fixes color shifting bug
Apple has released iPhoto 5.0.3, an update to the popular photo editing/management application which is recommended for all users of iPhoto 5.0, 5.0.1 and 5.0.2.
The new release's main improvement is the elimination of a bug extensively covered here on MacFixIt that involves a distinct color shifting that occurs when images are edited under Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger).
For Mac OS X 10.4.2, the new release also includes the following enhancements:
- Book layouts will not change when moving an image on a page
- An issue was addressed that caused some book orders to be cancelled
- Smart Albums will display correctly in other iLife applications
The new release is available through Software Update and as a 39.2 MB standalone download.
