Apple releases iPhone 3.0 update

<p>Apple has released the much-anticipated iPhone OS 3.0 update. The new software adds the capability to cut, copy and paste, have landscape keyboards in a variety of apps, MMS support, and Safari improvements, among many other key enhancements.</p>

Apple has released the much-anticipated iPhone OS 3.0 update. The new software adds the capability to cut, copy and paste, have landscape keyboards in a variety of apps, MMS support, and Safari improvements, among many other key enhancements.

  • Automatic Wi-Fi Login
  • Sync Notes
  • Parental Controls
  • iTunes Store Account
  • YouTube Login
  • Shake to Shuffle
  • New Languages
  • MobileMe Find My iPhone and Remote Wipe
  • Run the Latest Apps

The update is available through iTunes, and is free for iPhone users but iPod Touch owners will need to pay a $9.95 fee for the upgrade. To upgrade, connect your iPhone or iPod Touch to your computer and launch iTunes. Then synchronize your device with iTunes and check for updates, which should automatically detect and install the update.
