Apple releases iLife '11 updates

Apple has released the latest update to its iLife '11 suite of applications including Garageband, iPhoto (previously updated), and iMovie, now versions 6.0.1, 9.1.1, and 9.0.1 respectively.

Apple has released the latest update to its iLife '11 suite of applications including Garageband, iPhoto (previously updated), and iMovie, now versions 6.0.1, 9.1.1, and 9.0.1 respectively.

Users that have iLife '11 installed can access the updates via Software Update on their Macs. The updates contain several fixes including:

iMovie

  • Fixes stabilization issue when working with videos made on iPhone and iPod Touch
  • Fixes issue with valid Facebook passwords containing non-alphanumeric numbers
  • Improves compatibility with cameras that record in multiple formats
  • Improves performance when scrolling through your Project Library
  • Improves overall stability
Garageband
  • Flex Time edits issue fixed
  • Fixes latency that occurs on guitar tracks
  • Restores Quantize Note Timing menu for tracks with Groove Matching
  • Improves overall stability
