Apple releases final iSync 1.0, iCal 1.0.1

Apple has released two significant updates to its in-house iApp suite: the final release of iSync 1.0 (no longer in beta) and iCal 1.0.1.

iSync 1.0 offers the following improvements:

• Palm synching now much faster
• Improved Palm configuration
• Menu bar icon to sync anytime
• Automatic syncing to .Mac
• Sync with .Mac Address Book
• Enhanced performance/stability

iCal 1.0.1 provides a number of performance and stability enhancements, and improved support for importing vCal and Entourage information.

Initial reader reports indicating success applying the new releases, and positive feedback for the listed enhancements.
