Apple releases Digital Camera RAW Compatibility update 3.2

For all photographers and those managing RAW images, Apple has released another RAW compatibility update that extends the RAW format compatibility to Aperture 3 and iPhoto '09 for a number of Canon, Olympus, and Sony cameras.

For all photographers and those managing RAW images, Apple has released another RAW compatibility update that extends the RAW format compatibility to Aperture 3 and iPhoto '09 for a number of Canon, Olympus, and Sony cameras. In addition, the update addresses some issues with the RAW processing of currently supported cameras. The full list of new devices in this update are as follows:

  1. Canon EOS Rebel T2i / 550D / Kiss X4
  2. Leica S2
  3. Olympus E-450
  4. Olympus E-600
  5. Olympus E-620
  6. Sony Alpha DSLR-A230
  7. Sony Alpha DSLR-A330
  8. Sony Alpha DSLR-A380
  9. Sony Alpha DSLR-A450

It also addresses RAW processing issues for the following cameras:

  1. Canon EOS 30D
  2. Pentax K-x
  3. Pentax K-7

The update requires at least OS X 10.5.8 or OS X 10.6.2. It is a 5.28MB download and is available via Software Update, but can also be downloaded at Apple's support site here:
