Apple ProKit 5.1 Update available for 10.5 and 10.6

Apple has released a small update to their Pro application support, which addresses problems with memory leaks, odd scrolling behavior, and misplaced interface element.

Apple has released a small update to their Pro application support, which addresses problems with memory leaks, odd scrolling behavior, and misplaced interface element.

Apple's pro applications have a different interface than the standard OS X GUI, which is implemented by the ProKit software.

The update is a 32.39MB download, and requires either Leopard or Snow Leopard to install. It should be available in Software Update for those who have any of the following pro applications installed, but is also available at Apple's support website: http://support.apple.com/downloads/ProKit_5_0_for_Leopard__Mac_OS_X_10_5_

Be sure to have a full backup of your drive before installing this or any other update, so you can easily revert back to the prior installation state in the event something goes wrong when updating.
