Apple's iOS app Volume Purchase Program is expanding.

The company announced yesterday that its service is now available in several new countries, including Canada, France, Italy, and Germany. The service was already available in the U.S.

Volume purchasing for iOS apps allows developers offer their apps to businesses and educational institutions that typically want to buy programs in bulk. Developers participating in the program can also offer custom business-to-business apps that might not be found in Apple's App Store.
