Apple issues Security Update 2004-4-05

Apple has issued Security Update 2004-04-05, which "delivers a number of security enhancements and is recommended for all Macintosh users," for both Mac OS X 10.3.x and Mac OS X 10.2.8.

This update includes the following components:

  • CUPS Printing [Mac OS X 10.3.x and Mac OS X 10.2.8]
  • libxml2 [Mac OS X 10.3.x]
  • Mail [Mac OS X 10.3.x]
  • OpenSSL [Mac OS X 10.3.x]

Additionally, Security Update 2004-01-26 has been incorporated into this security update. Those components are:

  • AFP Server
  • Apache 1.3
  • cd9660.util
  • Classic
  • Directory Services
  • fetchmail
  • fs_usage
  • Mail
  • rsync
  • Safari
  • SystemConfiguration
  • System Initialization
