Apple iPad may hit China on Monday

The company's recently approved license on a 3G device means the latest iPad can be sold in the mainland next week, according to Patently Apple.

Apple's recently granted license for a 3G device means the latest iPad will be sold in China this Monday, according to patents blog Patently Apple.

The blog cites unnamed "Chinese sources" for the details, which adds to the news earlier this week that the country's regulators approved an Apple device with 3G data capabilities.

This builds onto the Apple hysteria in China, where the products are highly coveted, and may mean big money for Apple. Over the past few months, China has become increasingly important to Apple as a source of growth.
