Both the Wi-Fi and 3G models will hit Australian stores at the same time, but specifics about pricing and available capacities won't be announced until early April. There's also been no word yet on carriers or plans for the 3G units.

The Wi-Fi version of the iPad will be available in US stores on Saturday, 3 April for between US$499 and US$699, depending on the capacity. Americans wishing to buy the 3G-enabled iPad will have to wait until late April like customers in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK.
