Welcome to CNET Australia's App of the Day, where you can see some of the coolest, silliest and most useful apps in action.

If you're a musician, then LoopStack might just be the Android app you've been waiting for. It allows you to record up to four tracks using your device's microphone in high-quality 44 kilohertz, and overlay them to create a richer sound. It's really easy to use, with simple drag-and-drop functionality, and even includes a built-in metronome, so you can make sure your independently recorded tracks match up, tempo-wise. Also check out the developer's other app, Caustic, which lets you create your own electronic tracks in-app. They're both amazing.
