Aperture 1.5.1: Performance boost in "many areas"

Apple has released Aperture 1.5.1, a maintenance update to the photography workflow tool with specialized RAW image capabilities.

According to release notes, version 1.5.1 "Improves overall reliability and performance in many areas of the application, including keywords, the Loupe, cropping, previews, metadata presets, file renaming, iPhoto library import, and watermarks."

The new release requires Mac OS X 10.4.8.

Aperture 1.5.1 is available as a standalone downloadm which requires serial number entry.
