If you have an iPhone or iPod Touch, chances are you would have come across the game. Aside from the news that the game is , Angry Birds is also starting to rear its head (beak?) in real life.
First up, a fan named Laura made a tabletop game dubbed Angry Birds Live. This consisted of a cardboard box tower complete with pigs and various balls painted to look like the birds in the game. Laura even made accompanying slingshots, though she admitted she doesn't really use them, instead choosing to throw the balls at the tower.
On a separate but related note, TechCrunch reported rumors that Rovio, the company that makes Angry Birds, has been trying to secure franchising deals to include its characters in TV shows, movies, toys, and comic books. TechCrunch "confirmed" that Rovio will be making the toys and that these will be in the form of stuffed Angry Birds.
That makes sense, given that the cuteness of the characters probably played a big part in making the game popular, addictive game mechanics aside. Are you a big fan of the game? If so, would you buy a plush Angry Bird? Let us know in TalkBack below.
