The latest version of the Android Market app store lets you set all your apps to update automatically, meaning you can forgo the tiresome task of individually updating each app, one by one. Instead, you can lie back with a brew -- or a Martini -- safe in the knowledge that all your lovely apps are up to date.

You can also set your apps to update only over Wi-Fi. That's great news if you're not on an unlimited data plan, as you needn't worry about your precious megabytes being eaten when your apps update themselves over 3G.

The Market update also adds a bunch of user interface tweaks such as a smaller, neater font and a microphone button on the search bar to allow you to search by voice -- although we probably wouldn't want to search for "Fart Sound Board" using our voice in a public place.

Catchily named version 3.3.11, the Market update is on its way to phones and tablets soon, but if you can't bear to wait, you can grab the download now. Head over to Android Police and download the .apk file -- don't worry, you won't need to root your phone first.

It apparently doesn't work with Android Honeycomb yet, so if you're hoping to check it out on your Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 or Motorola Xoom, you're out of luck, at least for a little while. If you're using the update already, let us know what you think in the comments below, or over on our Facebook page.
