Amazon has added another layer to its Cloud Drive storage system, with an Android app that backs up your photos to the cloud.
The cloud storage service offers 5GB of free space to Amazon users, with paid tiers increasing this storage all the way up to 1TB. The app works as a dedicated Android app for sending photos to the cloud from your smartphone or tablet.
Available from Google Play, the app is quite obviously in its early stages of release, as functionality is somewhat basic. Still, the interface is clean and uncluttered, allowing you to upload single photos or entire albums to your cloud drive.
At the moment, there is no provision for automatic syncing, unlike other Android apps from Dropbox and even the Google+ Instant Upload function.
