A Vietnamese site offers up a picture of scarlet-hued Nexus 5. It could be a fake, but it follows other reports of Nexus 5 handsets of many colors.

The Nexus 5 has apparently been spied in red, leading a bit of credibility to rumors that Google is plotting a range of new hues for the flagship phone.

A photo appeared on the Vietnamese-language site Vietnamnet.vn, and reportedly shows a sample product that will go on sale in late February or March. The photo could be a clever fake, so this image should be taken with a pinch of salt.

That said, CNET UK reported Thursday on leaked images of a Google Play listing for the Nexus 5, showing the phone in black, white, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple.
