Until 7pm AEDST today (18 December 2012), every game by Halfbrick is free on the iTunes App Store. It's a great opportunity to snare some of the best-loved games around the world for zero dollars. Want the HD iPad versions of games you have on your iPhone? Just didn't want to spend a couple of dollars on Fruit Ninja? Now's your chance.

At this point, Android users are out of luck; Halfbrick chief marketing officer Phil Larsen told CNET Australia that since Android has a different roster of games, they aren't entirely up to date and Fruit Ninja is free for Android, anyway, the company currently has no plans to extend the offer to Google Play.

But the lucky iOS users can grab 'em all up here.
