All about the 2010 Audi A3 TDI
Audi's A3 TDI was named the Green Car of the Year. Find out more about this revolutionary clean diesel vehicle in today's video blog.
My guess is that anyone reading this blog probably also watched the big game last night (congratulations to the Saints and perhaps more importantly, to the city of New Orleans--you deserve it). During the second half of the game, a 60 second commercial came on with the soundtrack "The Green Police" (a take on "The Dream Police" by Cheap Trick in case you couldn't tell) that ended with what appears to be a green police approved vehicle moving on down the road. Well, the commercial was for the 2010 Audi A3 TDI clean diesel hybrid that was named "Green Car of the Year" according to Green Car Journal. In today's video, editor and publisher of Green Car Journal and GreenCar.com Ron Cogan explains why.
This video isn't much to watch, but yes, there are some nice beauty shots of the Audi A3 TDI and Mr. Cogan goes into quite a bit of detail about the car and the lauded green qualities that helped the A3 TDI win the 2010 Green Car of the Year award during the short duration of this video. The stat that stands out most to me is the TDI's reported 42 mpg highway average because, well, I don't think I've ever heard such a statistic. But there's more to this Audi than gas mileage: Ron gives props to the car's clean diesel attributes and talks generally about how fun it is to drive. A car that's environmentally sound, efficient, and a pleasure to drive--what a concept (no pun intended).
