Aladdin's plans for the future

An unofficial but informed source has written with information about Aladdin's forthcoming software. Given all the headaches that StuffIt Deluxe 5.0 and 5.0.1 have caused, the news promises relief:

StuffIt Deluxe 5.0.2 should be released in January. It addresses complaints that StuffIt 5.0 is slow compressing files. DropStuff 5.0 will be released around the same time. StuffIt Deluxe 5.5 is already in development.

A new version of Windows Aladdin Expander is also due out soon. It will provide compatibility with the Mac 5.0.x versions.
