AirPort 3.3.1 update fixes "kernel panic on Location change" issue?

CNET staff
Over the past couple weeks we've been covering a large number of reports of kernel panics when changing network Locations. After combing through these many reports, we isolated the recent AirPort 3.3 update as a contributing factor with a good deal of certainty.

On Monday Apple released AirPort 3.3.1, which "improves the reliability of AirPort connections when changing network locations." We've now received multiple reports from readers that installing this update appears to have fixed the kernel panic issue. If you were experiencing this problem, we encourage you to install AirPort 3.3.1 to see if it prevents these kernel panics.
