Adobe responds to GoLive vs. Safari issue

CNET staff

We previously reported that Safari (like Chimera) fails to be recognized as a viable preview Web browser in Adobe GoLive 6.

We've now received a response from GoLive group product manager, Mark Asher, who writes:

"We are looking into this situation and expect that any issues during the Safari beta program will be resolved when the product is finalized."

Most users are unable to add Safari to the list of browsers used by GoLive for previewing web pages, either when trying to add them manually or when GoLive searches the hard drive for all installed browsers.
