Adobe Illustrator and QuickTime/ColorSync extensions

Speaking of Illustrator 7, Theo Maschas points out that an Easy Install of Illustrator installs QuickTime 2.1 and ColorSync 2.1.1. These are not the most recent versions. So you may want to delete them and reinstall the newer versions. However, in one case, when Carl tried to delete QuickTime Musical Instruments, he got a message that said it "cannot be moved." Installing Illustrator with extensions off and then deleting the out-of-date files is likely to avoid problems such as this.
