Adobe Dimensions conflict with Mac OS 8.5.x (non-English versions)

Hugh Todd writes about a conflict between Mac OS 8.5.x and Adobe Dimensions. It seems Adobe tech people have isolated the problem to the Keyboards control panel. If it is set at anything other than U.S. (in my case, Australian), Dimensions loses almost all its keyboard commands.

Adobe replies:I've just received confirmation from Adobe engineers that the problem you describe with Dimensions 3.0 happens with all languages on OS 8.5.1 except U.S. English. Our engineers believe they've located where the problem occurs, but it appears that it would be up to Apple whether or not to fix it. If we receive more information on the status of this issue, we'll post it to our Web site.

Update: Cody Charette adds: "There issomething odd about the keyboard under 8.5 and 8.5.1. I use the Dvorak layout and after my iMac sleeps (similar things occur on my PCP 240) and I wake it up sometimes it will be reverted to US QWERTY or it simply may not function until restart."
