Adaptec DirectCD 1.0.4, Toast 3.5.6 and related updates

Previously, we have noted problems with DirectCD 1.0.3 and Yamaha 4416S CDR-W drives. Good news. DirectCD 1.0.4 is now out. It now provides compatibility with the 4416S and includes some other fixes as well. (Thanks, Fred Shippey.)

As noted by reader Brian: Adaptec and Yamaha have also released several related updates:

• A new UDF driver 1.0.4 (which works with DirectCD 1.0.4)
• Toast 3.5.6 update
• A ROM upgrade (1.0b to 1.0e) for the 4416S
